Ely is a sleepy little town with a cathedral (which is meant to make it a city, no?) and has the finest tea rooms in Britian. And can i attest not only to the range of their teas but their quality. It was also the site of the most delicious quiche I have ever tasted. Rachel's salmon and asparagus combo will take a deal of beating.

Made pilgrimage here from Leicester having visited a few previous times before, always with the same divinely satisfying result. This is quite simply the finest tea-room in England! Thank you for your warm welcome.

A truly splendid Birthday treat! Comparable only to the famous high teas at the Empress Hotel, Victoria, Canada! Well be back here soon!

Tremendous selection of real teas. Gluten-free cakes, scones and sandwiches, real human beings serving, intelligent and with a sense of humour, in one of the lovliest cities in the UK!! There is a God.

On this sunny Sunday afternoon, what a beautiful place to have the perfect cup of tea. By the look of it it won't be the last one

Peacocks offer a very special tea experience. The tea menu is extensive with lots of interesting, witty and helpful information. The quality of the teas and the delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes make this a must on any trip to Ely.
